Skylar Diggins talks Tulsa's loss in Indiana

Skylar Diggins became a star the minute she first picked up a basketball.  She received a scholarship offer to Notre Dame before she even entered high school.  Now she's living her dream of playing in the WNBA...although it's not quite as smooth of a transition as she may have hoped.

"Growing pains," Skylar Diggins said after Tulsa's loss to Indiana Friday.
Losing is not something Diggins is accustomed to....The South Bend phenomena led Washington to 4 state finals appearances and one championship...then at Notre Dame, Diggins led the Irish to three straight Final Fours and one runner-up finish.Diggins says
Now, she is a rookie starting point guard for the WNBA's last place Tulsa Shock.
Diggins is averaging 9 points and 5 assists per game, but the Shock have just 3 wins so far this season.
Not as many sell-out crowds in the WNBA, but bus loads of fans have made trips to Chicago and Indy to cheer for Sky...she appreciates the familiar faces in the crowd...especially her family.
Her transition from amateur to professional status has introduced her to the business side of basketball.  Signing rap super star Jay Z to be her agent.
While it may be a rough start to her pro career, you know Diggins will bring that same dedication to becoming the best.
