Two politically conservative central Indiana women are gaining a following four years after launching their edgy website Chicks on the Right.
The site started by professional, working moms Amy Jo Clark and Miriam Weaver attracts nearly 1.5 million views per month and ranks No. 16 on the Alexa list of the nation's top conservative sites.
Their Facebook fan page has more than 165,000 followers and their Twitter account has more than 11,000 followers. They also just landed a Saturday afternoon radio show on WIBC-FM in Indianapolis. They expect to put out a book early next year.
The 44-year-old Weaver says she and the 41-year-old Clark wanted to reach out to other women with similar views and tell them it can be fashionable to be Republican.
