Leesburg bank robbed, suspect at large

A Leesburg bank was robbed Friday afternoon. The robbery occurred at 4 p.m. at the Leesburg branch of the Farmers State Bank located on the 200 block of S. Main Street.

The suspect entered the bank wearing a dark colored mask over his nose and mouth area.  He is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 6' to 6' 2", mid to late 50's, wearing a red ball cap, with grey or white hair and either a beard or go tee that came to a two-prong or fork-style points at his chin area.  He was wearing a blue t-shirt, dark colored cargo pants, and white & silver running shoes.

The suspect fled in an unknown direction driving a silver or grey, early to mid 1990 station wagon, possibly a Chevy Cavalier or Ford Escort. 

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and did not display a weapon at the time of the robbery.
