Memorial car show coming to Saint Joe

Posted:

Classic cars plus a little live music is coming north of the state line.  Saint Joe, Michigan is hosting their annual Mike Yore Memorial Car and Music Show.

"This event is a real tribute to the late Mike Yore who loved rocking to music and cruising in cool cars," said Jill Stone, executive director, St. Joseph Today.

It kicks off in downtown Thursday at 4pm followed by a wine and beer tent opening at 5pm.  Organizers say the event is a great showcase of what the city has to offer in the summer.

"So Thursday night is a great night to come out its going to be beautiful outside, so many classic cars in honor of Mike Yore and in addition to that we've got live bands and everything else happening so we're really excited about that," says Stone.

Popular bands like the Hillbenders and Three Bad Jacks will be featured at the event.  Pop vocalist and song writer Jenna Mammina will also grace the stage.

Best of all, the concerts are all free of charge.
