Notre Dame University buildings evacuated for gas leak

Several buildings on Notre Dame's campus have been evacuated due to a gas leak.

A back-hoe hit a gas line while doing restoration work on the North side of DeBartolo Quad.  Several buildings in the area were evacuated as a precaution.  The buildings evacuated were Debartolo Classroom Building, Fitzpatrick Hall, The Snite Museum of Art, Cushing Hall and O'Shaughessy Hall.

We'll have updates for you on the gas leak as soon as they become available.
