Kid's Day at the Elkhart County 4-H fair

Posted:

The Elkhart County 4-H fair continued Wednesday with one of the most popular events, kid's day. CVS and Eastlake Athletic Club sponsored the day, which was filled with entertainment, activities and prizes for kids of all ages.

There was a 4-H scavenger hunt to win a variety of prizes and a treasure hunt for the chance to win a bike. From 1:00pm to when the fair closes, all the big rides will only cost one ticket for those thirteen and under.

Diane Wheatley, Fair Board Member & Kid's Day Director said, "It's been around for a long time, over twenty years, and we continue to try to change it and bring new things on."

Wednesday was also tobacco-free day at the fair and country star Hunter Hayes was the featured performer.
