Three drug arrests were made by Warsaw Police Monday in three separate incidents.

The first occurred in the 3700 block of W. Old Road 30 when officers received a tip of an active meth lab. They did not find anyone at the home, but did find Jacob P. Miller, 40, who had been named in the tip, as they were leaving. Upon stopping him they found meth in the manufacturing process in a bucket Miller was carrying.

Miller was arrested without incident and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on a class B felony charge of manufacturing methamphetamine.

Police responded to a separate tip of an active meth lab in the 200 block of E. Center St. They did not find the occupant of the apartment, but officers did find a very volatile one pot meth lab. The apartment, adjoining apartments, and a downstairs restaurant were evacuated and the fire department was called fearing a pending explosion.

Warsaw Police are currently looking for the renter of the apartment, whose name has not been released.

In a third drug related incident Monday night, officers made an undercover purchase of marijuana and arrested Justin Z. Babendrager, 19, of Warsaw. Officers purchased about one pound of marijuana from Babendrager at a complex in the 400 block of Clinic Court.

A juvenile fled the scene and police are currently looking for them. Another juvenile at the location was released.

Babendrager was booked on a class C felony charge of Dealing in Marijuana within a family housing complex.
