One person hurt in Saturday morning shooting

South Bend Police are looking for a suspect who shot someone in South Bend early Saturday morning.

It happened just before 5 am on Longley Avenue.

Police tell us that the victim was getting ready to get in a car when someone started shooting, then fled the scene.

Police say the victim knocked on the door of a house in the 1600 block Longley and asked to call 911.

He was taken to the hospital.

Police do not have a suspect in custody and if you have any information, call police.
