    One person is dead and US 421 is closed after two vehicles collided head-on Tuesday morning in LaPorte County.LaPorte County Police say the accident happened just before 8:30am EDT on US 421. So far there is one confirmed fatality. Police say they initially closed down US 421 in both directions between 50 N. and the Toll Road entrance.INDOT has since taken over management of the roads, and has closed US 421 from SR 2 to CR 400 N.More >>
