Four arrested on meth charges in Cass County

The Cass County Sheriff's Department says four people were arrested at two separate homes this week on meth-related charges.

Investigators made the arrests after searching the homes, one in the 69000 block of Cassopolis Road in Mason Township, the other in the 67000 block of Calvin Center Road in Calvin Township. Investigators say in both cases they found evidence of the manufacturing of meth, including components to make meth and meth products.

At the Cassopolis Road home, deputies arrested 41-year-old John Pillow and 42-year-old Bonita King. Pillow is charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house.  King was charged with possession of methamphetamine. Both were being held at the Cass County Jail. Bond for Pillow was set at $40,000, King's bond was set at $15,000.

At the Calvin Center Road home, deputies arrested 45-year-old Basil Rowe and 42-year-old Kristina May. Rowe was charged with operating and maintaining a methamphetamine lab, operating and maintaining a methamphetamine lab producing hazardous waste, manufacturing methamphetamine, conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house.  May was charged with possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house. Both were being held at the Cass County Jail. Bond for Rowe was set at $60,000, May's bond was set at $20,000.
