Three teens arrested for Goshen Inn arson

Posted:

Goshen Police say three 15-year-old boys have been arrested for a fire at a closed motel.

The fire happened last Monday at the former Goshen Inn and Conference Center at 1375 Lincolnway East in Goshen. Investigators determined the fire had been intentionally started.

Police say their investigation led them to the three 15-year-old boys. They were arrested on Arson charges, along with a previous Burglary at the motel. Police say one of the teens is also being charged with graffiti damage at several properties over the past few months.

The three boys were all being held at the Juvenile Detention Center pending a hearing scheduled for Monday. Police have turned their investigation over to the Elkhart County Prosecutor's Office.
