Silver Hawks impressed with attendance going into playoffs

Posted:

Business continues to boom at the Cove.

The Silver Hawks are entering the playoffs after a successful season on the field and at the box office.

The Hawks drew 237,000 people to the Cove this season-- nearly 50,000 more than last year and more than double the attendance in 2011.

The team will play game two in the first round of the playoffs at home on Thursday.

Management hopes you'll come out and show your support!

Team president Joe Hart says, "The guys on the field deserve it. We want to have a great crowd, and obviously they've worked hard to get us to this point. I'm hoping the community comes out and supports them as well."

This year's attendance record comes in second to the 1994 season.

That's when Major League Baseball was on strike and minor-league teams drew huge crowds of fans who still wanted to watch baseball.

It's almost that look of not even looking like you have makeup on. When it comes to hair, the look is called "effortless elegance", whe...More >>
