Two men arrested for racing in Fulton County

Two men are in jail after apparently racing in Fulton County Monday night.

Fulton County dispatchers got the word from Marshall County dispatchers that a driver headed south on U.S. 31 near State Road 10 was going faster than 100 miles per hour.

At around 11:13 pm police saw two cars traveling side by side "in a racing fashion" near the intersection of County Road 50 North and U.S. 31. They were going 102 miles per hour. When officers turned on their lights one of the cars lost control and drove into the median where the car rolled several times.

The driver, 22-year-old Tyler Henderson of Fulton was not seriously hurt and was cleared by medics before being sent to the Fulton County jail for OWVI and Reckless Driving charges.

The other driver was 25-year-old Christopher Eash of Nappanee. He was taken to jail on Reckless Driving and Possession of Paraphernalia charges.
