Man arrested outside White House for throwing fireworks

A man is in police custody after tossing fireworks over a fence at the White House.

Three uniformed Secret Service officers stationed at the White House tackled Alexander Sahaghan to the ground after they heard loud popping noises. At first, police thought it might have been gunshots.

FOX News says Sahaghan could be charged with throwing a projectile. There's no word on if charges have been filed.

The Associated Press and FOX News contributed to this story.
