Team Depot put up fencing for veterans

Team Depot, a volunteer organization comprised of current Home Depot employees dedicated to giving back in their community, provided materials and labor to put up fencing around the Elkhart Disabled American Veterans building.  They installed a privacy fence around the back of the building and aluminum fencing around the air conditioners, for protection.

Assistant Store Manage of the Mishawaka Home Depot Jeff Davis says it is fun to get to volunteer with other employees.  "We really like the people we work with," Davis said, "and one of the companies core values is to give back to the community so this is one of the ways we are able to do that."

This was a district project, consisting of volunteers from stores from Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana.  About 50 people were on site to help construct the fence.
