The guard who admitted to using an inmate's debit card to withdraw cash was sentenced to one year in jail.

The St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office says 28-year-old Trevor Reynolds will spend one year in the County Jail and ordered to pay $556.23 in restitution.  Reynolds pled guilty to Trafficking with an Inmate and Official Misconduct.

Trevor Reynolds was accused of taking the card while working as a correction officer at the St. Joseph County Jail in March. At the time, police say Reynolds claimed he didn't steal the card, but bought it from an inmate.
