Cycling to raise awareness for blood cancer

Cycling hundreds of miles all for cancer awareness.  That's what about 25 people are doing Friday and Saturday.

It's called Miles for Myeloma.  Myeloma, not to be confused with Melanoma is an incurable blood cancer.

This group of cyclists will ride from Niles, Michigan to Indianapolis to raise awareness of the disease.

"The goal is to really find why we can't cure the disease, come up with drugs so we can cure the disease because you don't want to keep losing people, we almost lose 12,000 Americans a year," says Dr. Rafat Abonour an Oncologist.
