South Bend man sentenced to life in prison for shooting death

The man convicted in a robbery that became a double murder last year will spend the rest of his life in prison.

The St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office says Charles Moore was sentenced to Life Without Parole for the murder of Jazmin Conlee.  Moore was also sentenced to 65 years for Felony Murder in connection to the death of Alejandro Tinoco.

Conlee and Tinoco were both shot on January 28.  Moore, along with Jermon Gavin, were arrested for the shootings the next day.  Moore was found guilty in August of this year.  Gavin's case has not yet gone to trial.

Another person involved, Rakeem White, pled guilty to Assisting a Criminal, after prosecutors say he gave false information to investigators.  He was sentenced to 4 years in prison earlier this month.
