St. Joe students "pink" their hair

Students at St. Joe High School are joining the fight against breast cancer in a very VISUAL way.

They're "Pinking" their hair!

A group called HOPE -- Helping Other People Endure -- came up with the idea.

For $10 students were glammed up with a strand of pink hair. They're even allowed to wear it the entire month of October!

All the money goes to help fight cancer.

Lydia Lorence, a HOPE Leader, says, "I hope that it shows my support for them and my respect for them going through the treatments and how, I hope it shows how strong they are and how grateful I am."

Stylists with Tru Salon came in on their day off to help with the event!

Girls AND guys from St. Joe high school joined in on the fun.
