South Bend helping people learn about abandoned homes

The City of South Bend is working to solve its abandoned housing program. Leaders will attempt to either demolish or save one-thousand homes.

They're coming out with a new application that could help code enforcement with their work on the project. South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg will be meeting with city officials to discuss how the application will affect code enforcement.

There will also be a meeting for people in the community to learn more about it. That meeting runs from 5:30 to 6:30 pm at Our Lady Of The Road, which is located at 744 South Main Street.

The city asks that people who want to come out RSVP for the event. You can do that by visiting this website. You can also learn more about the app by visiting this website.
