Women get free health screenings in Goshen

Posted:

It was all about women Saturday in Goshen.  The Retreat Women's Health Center held their annual health event.  Women could get free health screenings, try out health treatments, food, and exercises and shop local vendors.  Organizers said over 200 women attended the event.  "We know the message is getting to the women because they're coming out, they're taking advantage of this event and they are willing and trying to make changes in their life and we're just happy we can be here to help them make those changes," said Health Education Coordinator Hollie Carlson.

Entries for the annual decorate a bra event were also on display.  You'll remember one of the entries from our story earlier this week, it's a giant bra on the windows at LOL Health and Fitness in Goshen.

You can vote for your favorite decorated bra all this month.  You can vote in person at the Retreat Women's Health Center at 1335 Professional Drive in Goshen or you can vote online here.
