Suspect in South Bend robbery and murder pleads guilty

The third, and final, suspect involved in a robbery that ended in the death of two people pled guilty to Robbery on Monday.  Jermon Gavin, 22, was not the shooter, but did admit to being a part of a robbery on North Adams St. in January of 2012.

Charles Moore, 27, was convicted in August of Murder and Felony Murder for shooting Alejandro Tinoco and Jazmin Conlee during the robbery.

Another person involved, Rakeem White, pled guilty to Assisting a Criminal, after prosecutors say he gave false information to investigators.  He was sentenced to 4 years in prison earlier this month.

Gavin had originally been charged with Robbery and Felony Murder.  The Felony Murder charge was dropped as part of the plea agreement.  He could be sentenced to up to 6 years.  He is scheduled for sentencing on November 14.
