School officials have fired a NorthWood High School Spanish teacher over allegations that she had "inappropriate conduct with a male student.  Brooke Wilson was suspended on September 25, when the accusations first came to light.  At the Wa-Nee Schools regular meeting on Monday, the board chose to cancel Wilson's contract.

Wa-Nee Schools have submitted reports to police, but have not released any additional information on the case to the public.

The school corporation did say in a written statement, "Our student's safety and well-being are our utmost concerns.  Rest assured that Wa-Nee Schools will undertake all measures to safeguard our children, who are our community's future."

FOX28 News will continue to investigate this story, and will update you with more information as it becomes available.
