Chipping challenge raises money for breast cancer research

Folks traded in the footballs for golf clubs, chipping for cancer on Notre Dame's campus Saturday.

Paqui Kelly and Former Notre Dame Player Mike Golic participated in a golf chipping challenge to raise money for the Kelly Cares Foundation.

For every ball they got on the green $100 was donated by Travelers Insurance and for every hole in one, $500 was donated.

It was a competition to beat last year's $7 thousand raised.

"You always try and beat what you did the year before, no doubt about it so 7 is the base line, we're looking for so we're looking to go way more than that at this point," says ESPN host and former Notre Dame lineman, Mike Golic.

The public could also participate in the chipping challenge to help raise money for the cause.
