Cell phone stops bullet intended for store clerk

A gas station clerk in Orlando, Florida may owe his life to his cell phone.  It stopped a bullet that was fired at the clerk during a hold-up.

Early Monday morning, Winter Garden police say a man walked into a Hess Gas station  on West Colonial Drive demanding money from the safe.

When not one, but two clerks couldn't open it he left, but not without firing a shot from across the store. The clerk had no idea he was shot until he noticed some chest pain.

You can see what the cell phone looked like in the photo, the bullet still lodged inside.  The clerk is expected to be okay.  He just has some bruising in his chest.
