UPDATE: Police looking for suspect in downtown Mishawaka bank robbery


Police are looking for suspect in a robbery at a downtown Mishawaka bank.

Mishawaka Police say a man in a black hoodie and baseball cap with a shirt pulled over his face came into the Mutual Bank at Church and Lincolnway around 1:25 p.m. Tuesday.

The man, described as 5'9" to 5'10" in his 20s or 30s showed a handgun to a clerk and demanded money.  He escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police searched the area for a suspect with the help of a South Bend Police K-9, but didn't find the suspect.
