Group sending hundreds of Christmas stockings to our troops

A Plymouth group is sending Christmas cheer to our troops overseas.  Saturday members of the local Operation Quiet Comfort and volunteers packed 800 Christmas stockings.  They were filled with socks, snacks, and cards.  It's all being sent to members of our military for the holidays.  The group has been doing this for years and they say they do it because they can.  "Because they are doing so much for us.  I have a son in law in the army, he's spend several Christmas' away from his family.  I just know when they're far from home this is something we can do for them," said Board Member Jan Houin.

It costs about $10 per stocking to do this.  And it all happens thanks to donations.
