Murdered Elkhart teen remembered at memorial service

Friends and loved ones came together Saturday to honor 17-year-old Tiana Alter who was stabbed to death last weekend.  Music echoed through the Ol Rugged Fellowship church while a slide show played of pictures of Tiana.

Those in attendance lined up and one by one gave the girl's parents hugs.  Several people also jumped on stage to share their memories of the teen.  Tiana's Aunt Katherine Moore said, "She was always ready to go somewhere, she wanted to rip and run and she just wanted to go."

Others shared memories of dancing with Tiana and her big appetite.

26-year-old Michael Shoun is facing murder charges in her death.
