Charitable organization gets a makeover after graffiti incident

A local group is taking a bad situation and turning it into something good.  The Santa's Pantry building in Elkhart was spray painted with graffiti a couple weeks ago.  The organization is all about paying it forward and kindness in the community.  And now the community is repaying that.
Paint was donated to cover up the graffiti and Saturday several volunteers showed up to repaint the building.  Santa's Pantry President Debbie Micola said, "It's awesome, it's totally awesome.  Watching everybody pull in this morning it was just amazing and I thought it was gonna take all day and all night to get it done and we've got so many people we're gonna be done within a few hours."

The group also took this time to educate the kids who helped paint about gangs, graffiti, and paying it forward.
