St. Joseph County leaf pick-up schedule

St. Joseph County is pleased to announce its Curbside Leaf Collection Program is scheduled to begin Monday, November 11th.
 
Greenworld Environmental Management will begin the first pass of the 2013 curbside program on Monday, November 11 and complete a second pass starting on November 20th.  Visit the web-site www.SJCLP.com or contact the Leaf Hotline Care Center toll free at 877-472-2735 for complete program details, up to date schedule information, and other information.
 
In order for the leaves to be picked up, residents are asked to place leaves within five feet of the curbline or shoulder prior to the start date.  Only loose leaves shall be collected; do not put leaves inside of a fence or in any type of bag.  Leaves must also be easily accessible and at least 15 feet from mailboxes or obstacles and at least 25 feet from any parked vehicles.  Do not place any debris, tree limbs, grass clippings, trash, brush, or any type other than leaves at the curbline.
 
Please remember if the leaves are not at the curbside when the vacs go by on the first pass, residents can still receive curbside collection on the second pass.
 
Residents that do not live within a neighborhood or subdivision in the areas south and west of the St. Joseph Valley Parkway (US 20/31 By-pass) are scheduled for "on-call" service.  Residents in these areas must contact the Leaf Hotline Care Center toll free at 877-472-2735 prior to the start date to register for Pick Up service.  On-line registration is also available on the web-site www.SJCLP.com
 
All residents within a neighborhood or subdivision in the areas south and west of the St. Joseph Valley Parkway (US 20/31 By-pass) will receive the two scheduled passes per the schedule above.

    CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - A recently demoted executive entered a Loop office building in Chicago on Thursday morning and shot the company’s CEO before turning the gun on himself and committing suicide, authorities said. The shooting happened just before 10 a.m. at the ArrowStream company on the 17th floor of the Bank of America building, 231 S.
