A St. Joseph County woman is accused of bilking two women out of thousands of dollars over years.

The prosecutor's office says Kim Savage created two fake personas of male marines serving in covert operations overseas.  The two victims then deposited money into Savage's bank account believing she would then send the U.S. currency to the marines.

Savage is currently charged with two counts of Theft.  Prosecutors believe the scam had been going on since at least November of 2011, and there may be additional victims.

If this scenario sounds familiar or if you believe you know a Chad Montbriand, Neil Santori, or Steve Santori, you are asked to contact Detective Phil Williams with the St. Joseph County Police Cybercrimes Unit.  He can be reached at 574-235-9569.
