Concord basketball team gets donation from NBA player

It was a pretty exciting day for the boys basketball team at Concord High School.  The Minutemen got a special delivery of brand new basketball shoes donated by former Concord and NBA player Shawn Kemp.
Kemp played for the Minutemen in the late 80s before going on to play for the Seattle Supersonics.

Steve Austin / Head Coach: "It's a neat thing," says Concord Head Coach Steve Austin.  "It's a neat gesture to give back like that. Between Shawn and Reebok, it's just very good for the kids, very good for the program."

Kemp will be back in Elkhart County for Concord's game against Goshen in January.
