Final ND pep rally of football season moves inside

Notre Dame will take on BYU Saturday afternoon, but ahead of the game the team celebrated its final home stand with a pep rally Friday evening.

Because of the cold weather the pep rally was moved inside, to the Compton Family Ice Arena.

As for the game itself, the weather is expected to be very cold with wind chills in the single digits.  There is also a good chance of some snow flurries.

Notre Dame officials want people to know that you can bring blankets into the stadium but be prepared for inspections.

"Tomorrow if your gonna bring in extra blankets, extra jackets, extra cool weather gear, gear to keep you warm, we ask that you still bring it in but don't bring it in a bag, carry it over your shoulders, carry it in, it will get inspected," says Mike Seamon, Director of Game day Operations at Notre Dame.

Fans at Friday's pep rally told us how they're planning on staying warm during Saturday's game.  Dan Doyle said he's wearing, "two sweatshirts, a jacket, thermals, under armour, hats, gloves."  Eugene Keefe said, "put on heavy socks, heavy boots and that's how we're staying warm."  And Frank Delmont and Jeffrey Wheatman said, "layers, absolute layers and we're going to cuddle. "
