Suspect pleads guilty in Elkhart double shooting

One of the two men accused in a robbery that left two people dead has pled guilty to murder.  The Elkhart County Prosecutor's Office says 23-year-old Richard Gross pled to two counts of murder.

Back in September two men tried to rob Saleh's Market at the corner of Middlebury and Madison Streets.  Two store employees, 20-year-old Pawan Singh and 55-year-old Jagtar Sing Bhatti were both shot and killed during the incident.

Gross is scheduled for sentencing in March of next year.  He could be sentenced to up to 130 years in prison.

The other suspect, 28-year-old Kevin Moore, is also charged with two counts of murder.  His trial is scheduled for February 3.
