Syracuse Police say they've arrested a man on intimidation charges after they say he sent threatening letters to a woman in Bremen and himself.

Police say it started last Thursday when 40-year-old Jason Wilson said he got a threatening letter. A woman in Bremen got a similar letter the same day.

On Friday night, police say they responded to an alarm was received at Wilson's home. When officers arrived, they found a truck on fire in a driveway. Police say they found Wilson in the backyard, leaning against a tree. Police say he told them he noticed his truck on fire, then someone trying to break his sliding glass door. Police say Wilson told officers he chased the person and the two of them got in a fight before the person got away. Officers searched the area and found nothing.

On Saturday, police say Wilson and the woman got another threatening letter.

Police say their investigation determined Wilson sent the letter to himself, the woman, the woman's father, and a store in Warsaw where she worked.

Wilson was arrested Wednesday on 2 counts of Intimidation, a Class D Felony. He's also facing a charge of False Reporting, a Misdemeanor. Wilson was last reported as being held at the Kosciusko County Jail.
