Community says final goodbye to Sarah Crane

It may be a little bit of closure for friends and family following the "Sarah Strong" campaign.

Fifteen-year-old Sarah Crane was laid to rest Saturday after losing her battle with colon cancer.

The community poured into the California Road Missionary Church to pay their respects.

It's just down the street from Elkhart Memorial High School, where Sarah was a student and athlete.

Sarah's story has touched so many people in the Michiana area and her memorial service was even streamed on "YouTube" for the public.

"I want to thank you Sarah, for blessing me with the privilege of being your big sister and for being one of the biggest rays of sunshine in the past 15 years of my life," said Sarah's sister during the funeral.

Sarah was diagnosed with Stage four colon cancer last summer.

A 5k walk and run will be held in her honor in March.
