Judge places temporary injunction on Obamacare mandate

Several organizations in Northeast Indiana won't have to provide contraceptive care to their employees at the beginning of the year.  The Northern Indiana District Court has placed a temporary injunction barring enforcement of the "contraceptive mandate" portion of the Affordable Care Act.

The ruling stalls the enforcement of the mandate until an actual ruling has been made in the case.

The Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, Inc, Saint Anne Home and Retirement Community of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, Inc., Franciscan Alliance, Inc., Specialized Physicians of Illinois, LLC, University of Saint Francis and Our Sunday Visitor, Inc. are the groups filing the lawsuit.
