Spaghetti raises money for Michiana police officer

Spaghetti brought people together in Edwardsburg Saturday and also raised money for one of the community's police officers.

Officer Brian Robinson has a form of lymphoma so a spaghetti dinner was held to help raise money for his medical bills.  Officer Robinson has been battling cancer since August.

He's a veteran and one of the oldest officers of the Ontwa Township Edwardsburg Police Department.  His fellow officers say they just want him better and back at work.  "Brian has just been a great guy, he's always been there for all of us and we just wanna be there for him.  We're hopeful he'll be back soon," said Patrol Officer Kevin English.

If you'd like to donate you can contact English at the police department or email him at
