Fans React to Super Bowl Matchup

Posted:

The Denver Broncos will meet the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII on February 2nd at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Between the Buns sports bar in Elkhart had fans in watching the NFC and AFC title games. Many Michiana fans have shown their support towards the Denver Broncos. The main reason appears to be quarterback Peyton Manning.

"I wish it was again with the Colts but I'm glad that he's with the Denver Broncos and he's able to make it back to the Super Bowl," said football fan Leslie Crane.

"I'm a die hard Colts fan," said Ryan Culp, another fan at the sports bar. "I really wish he [Peyton Manning] was with the Colts, but I'm happy for the Broncos."

"Peyton Manning in my eyes is the best quarterback to ever step on the field," said Travis Uselton, a server at Between the Buns. "I'd love to see him get another ring to match his brother."

Peyton Manning will make his third Super Bowl appearance. He won his first Super Bowl in 2006 when the Indianapolis Colts defeated the Chicago Bears by a final of 29–17 in Super Bowl XLI.

The Denver Broncos defeated the New England Patriots 26-16 to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. The Seattle Seahawks defeated the San Francisco 49ers 23-17 to represent the NFC.

FOX28 will air Super Bowl XLVIII on February 2nd at 5:30pm.
