Police are trying to figure out how a missing Mishawaka woman's body ended up nearly an hour away in Valparaiso, Indiana.

They say Renee Koontz was found inside her car in a Target parking lot off LaPorte Avenue Monday. It was covered in snow.

She was first reported missing on January 17th. Koontz was last seen leaving her home in the 2600 block of Castine Walk. Officers say she took prescription medications with her and was considered suicidal.
