Friend of chase suspect arrested during police search

North Liberty Police thought they were raiding a home where a fleeing chase suspect was.  The didn't find him, but they didn't go away empty-handed either.

North Liberty Police say they got a crimestoppers tip on a home where Aaron Egger was thought to be hiding. Egger escaped capture Monday when police tried to arrest him on drug charges.  Police received a permit to check the property, but found nothing.

North Liberty Police later received a follow up call at another property where Egger was thought to have moved to. The owner of the home, who Police say is a friend of Egger, was found with a warrant on burglary charges.

Police are not identifying the man at this time. He was taken to Marshall County Police, where they hope he will be of assistance in finding Egger.

Since Tuesday's chase, Egger is being charged by North Liberty Police with resisting law enforcement, criminal confinement, and criminal recklessness due to the passenger inside the vehicle. Indiana State Police along with Marshall County Police are charging him with resisting arrest and criminal recklessness.
