Blotter; Maria Ramirez, 31 years old, of 1011 Beaver Lane was arrested at 4522 Elkhart Road inside Meijer for shoplifting. Maria
Ramirez was released on scene with a memorandum to appear in Goshen City Court. All the stolen merchandise was recovered.

Blotter; Officers were dispatched to 706 South 8th Street reference an 8 year old female found outside with no adults around.
The child was found to be in good health. It was later determined that the 8 year old female got angry and left home without
permission and the adult had been out attempting to locate the child. The Department of Child Services was contacted. A report
was taken.

Blotter; Police were called to 411 E. Jefferson St. after receiving a report of a verbal fight. Officers arrived and found one of the
subjects involved to be highly intoxicated. It was found that there was no crime committed and both parties were separated.

He said he is unable to comment on his July 19 arrest for Operating While Intoxicated, under the advisement of legal council.
