The St. Joseph County woman accused of scamming two women out of thousands of dollars pled guilty to theft Wednesday morning.

The St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office says Kim Savage pleaded guilty to two counts of theft.  She admitted to creating two fake personas of male Marines serving in covert operations overseas.  Prosecutors say the two victims deposited money into Savage's bank account believing she would then send the money to the Marines.

Sentencing for Savage is scheduled for March 20.
