House Raffle 2014 tickets on sale

Posted:

Wouldn't we all love to spend $150 for a new house, a really nice house?

On Tuesday, tickets went on sale for House Raffle 2014. That's right, Saint Joseph Medical Center is raffling off a house in South Bend. It's in Bradford Shores at Knollwood this year.

The 2,500 square foot structure has a two-story great room, hardwood floors and a three-car garage.

Organizers say construction is almost done.

Proceeds benefit the Sister Maura Brannick, CSC Health Center and Women's Care Center.

"We believe because we come from such a caring community that they also believe in our mission, that if you are without health care - but desperately in need of health care - you should be able to get the very, very best," says Chief Development Officer Ann Rathburn-Lacopo.

There are only 3,950 tickets up for grabs. "We've always sold out our raffle within a few weeks, but normally it's within a few days," says Rathburn-Lacopo.

You can grab one by visiting Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, located off Holy Cross Parkway in Mishawaka. They will be available from 8am to 6pm on weekdays.

By the way, the House Raffle drawing will take place on Friday, May 2nd.
