A Tippecanoe Valley School employee is in jail after Indiana State Police say he provided alcohol to a 15-year-old student.

State Police say they got a tip that 49-year-old David Swanson of Bourbon had been giving the student beer and hard liquor since the student was 13.

In February, police say Swanson intended to give the student five quart jars of moonshine to sell for 25 bucks a piece. Police say Swanson made the moonshine in a still on his property.

Swanson is listed on the district's website as being in a computer technician.

He's facing charges of Maintaining a Common Nuisance, a Class D Felony, and two counts of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, a Class A Misdemeanor. He is being held at the Kosciusko County Jail.
