Local businesses on display at Michiana Home Show

Posted:

Turning your house into a home, the 39th annual Michiana Home Show can help you accomplish that.

Local businesses are on display, showcasing what they have to offer.

You can find everything from hiring a contractor and redesigning ideas to DIY projects.

In essence, it's a one-stop shop. "They may come out here and see five different companies do what they're looking for," says Promoter Mel Wood. "So, they can compare not only prices, but they can compare the materials. They can compare the people, and it's just a very easy way to go shopping instead of driving all over town."

The 39th annual Michiana Home Show kicks off Friday at the South Bend Century Center, and it will continue through Sunday.
