UPDATE: Police searching for man seen fleeing stabbing scene

Police are asking your help in finding a suspect in a stabbing in South Bend.

Police say it happened Friday night in the 200 block of East Fox Street.

We're told 51-year-old David Turbeville was stabbed multiple times in the torso and stomach.

He was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. After surgery, he is now stable.

Police are looking for a white man who was seen taking off from the scene in a white pick-up truck. Witnesses say he headed northbound on Carol Street.

The man was seen arguing with Turbeville before the stabbing. The suspect also had a woman with him at the time who left the scene with him.
