High school students raise money for Habitat For Humanity

Students at St. Joseph High School are gearing up to build a house with Habitat for Humanity.

Tuesday night they raised money by holding a fundraiser at Chicory Cafe in Downtown South Bend.

20% of the sales during their open mic might will be donated to the project.

Kathy Kershner from St. Joseph High School says, "St. Joe High School has a tradition of service and Habitat for Humanity is just the perfect match for what we try to teach as part of our learning curriculum."

This year the money raised will help build a family's brand new home on Chapin Street in South Bend.
