Music fans line up for rare records

It's kind of like black Friday for music lovers: Record Store Day.

Ignition Music Garage, in Goshen says its first customer showed up at 5:15 Saturday morning to get a box set from the band "Cake."

According to the record store, It's the first time "Cake" has released anything on vinyl.

Record Store Day is all about finding rare items, like limited edition albums and previously unreleased tracks.

The store says the event brings the community together. "Vinyls are really a community experience. You sit and listen to records with your friends. It's not the fast food experience of MP3's or iPods, where you're just shuffling all the time," says Ignition Music Garage manager, Trevor Moore.

Ignition Music Garage says about 130 people were already waiting in line when the store opened Saturday morning.
