Early Morning Armed Robbery At Warsaw Gas Station

Posted:
Warsaw Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at a gas station around 4 o'clock Thursday morning.  It happened at Lassus Handy Dandy, which is at 1900 Plaza Drive.  Police said the store clerk told them the suspect came into the store, and was acting strange as he walked around.  Once the customers in the store left, the clerk said the suspect came up to the counter, showed a black gun, and said something along the lines of "I need the money or else I'm going to shoot" and "I gotta feed my babies."  The store clerk gave the suspect some cash from the register.  The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 30's, who's about 5'3" to 5'4", weighs about 170 pounds, and possibly has short, black hair and a goatee.  He was said to be wearing a white zip-up hoodie with a dark design on the right side of the hood, as well as one on the chest.  He also wore dark-colored pants, dark-colored shoes, and a red bandana around his neck and face.  Anyone with information about this armed robbery is asked to call the Warsaw Police Department at 574-372-9515.
